Interpreting Hypertextual Picturesque and Systematic Delay
As technology and our ways of thinking evolve, we need to still remember the aesthetic theories that once completely influenced all architectural design; the picturesque. However, while including this deliberate and visionary aspect of design, we need to move away from design being determined externally by the influence of organised framework, and towards adaptive thought and bifurcation. We now have such technology available that we can truly generate creatively, with more experimental and emergent processes that create fields of potential to enhance unbiased creativity and account for our thoughts as the changing landscape. The electronic space available to us allows design processes to become much more abstract, dynamic and experimental, but as we take advantage of these evolving technologies in design we need to continue to consider our influences from nature and aesthetic theories.
